Smart Solutions For Sterile Instrument Storage

Storing sterile supplies is critical in any operating room, but it can be challenging with limited space. As a result, healthcare buildings and facilities must devise a plan to safeguard proper sterile storage conditions.

High-quality sterile instrument storage is also crucial to sterile processing, disease control, and infection control, thereby preventing contamination. A safe storage system specifically designed for organizing sterilized instruments stored individually helps eliminate tears and perforations. Microorganisms between wraps will also not be an issue if the sets are stored properly and not stacked, eliminating the need to reprocess your sets if the blue wrap is compromised.

At DSI, our sterile storage solutions make it straightforward for healthcare facilities to manage their sterile instruments. Our carts, cabinets, and equipment exceed medical industry standards for temperature and humidity control to maintain sterile conditions and longer shelf life.
